Organization Purpose
The League of Mexican American Women is a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization, and since it's inception, has been a leader in enriching the community. The original purpose of the
League of Mexican American Women was to encourage involvement in community affairs.
The League has focused and expanded its efforts in the area of education.
Over the past 40 years more than one million dollars has been awarded to students living in the state of Arizona who could
not afford to attend an Arizona college, university, or trade school.
